Both can be accomplished simultaneously by requesting what we call a CMA or comparative market analysis.  This is not a formal appraisal but rather an estimated price range of what you home would likely sell for based on a variety of factors but primarily the sale price of similar homes in the past 6 months.  We will visit your home, discuss with you its assets and drawbacks (if any), research the market and compile the data.  We would then schedule a complimentary and confidential listing presentation.  

A listing presentation is the term used by Realtors ® to describe the proposal to prospective home sellers on how we would market and sell your home, based on the CMA and depending on your needs.  If you are pleased with the proposal, we have satisfied first two pre-requisites to successfully selling your home; you have determined a fair price and  found a Realtor ®!
